The amount is set per vehicle and shown on the listing before you book, so you know it in advance. You arrange it with the owner, as you do the rest of the payment.
You and the owner record the odometer and fuel level, photograph the vehicle from eight angles, and both sign. That record is what any later damage claim is compared against, which protects both of you.
Some owners offer delivery, usually free within a set radius and charged per kilometre beyond it. Where it is available, it is shown on the listing.
The excess is charged per kilometre at the rate shown on the listing, added to your next cycle rather than billed separately.
Comprehensive cover carrying the rent-a-car loading. Standard private cover is not sufficient and will not pay out on a rental claim. We record the policy and its expiry, and withdraw the listing if it lapses.
Earnings accrue on each paid cycle and clear after a short dispute window, then go out in the next payout batch by bank transfer.
Yes, unless you have turned on instant book. Renters are not identity-verified by the platform, so check their licence yourself at handover — and refuse the vehicle if it is missing, wrong for the class, or expired.
